i mean, as long as Isamu Dyson is fighting in the YF-19, i dont think anyone stands a chance.....now i gotta go home and watch it like 5 times, lol.

Hand to hand the Gundam would win. It weighs nearly 5 times as much as the fighter and has 60mm cannons in its head and has beam swords. It also has a faster ground run speed, so no contest.

Although technically the YF-19 could maintain stand off distance and pound it with LRMs until it died. But the gundam probably has systems to shoot down LRMs.

So yeah, Gundam would probably win in a fight, the universe is just higher powered. It's like Star Wars vs Star Trek, Star Wars works on a system several orders of magnitude larger than Star Trek.

Although Macross is way cooler.
