After drying my tears from only having to pick from two choices and not being able to take the CHEAP road and pick none, I choose WoW. Cause WoW is awesome and fun and I would play it right now.
i would never wasate $200 on an xbox 360, it will just break and why would i pay MS JUST to play games ONLINE where as better and other systems offer online for free i.e pse, PC
Ok, if you happen to read this out on the podcast, just call me Gummi (yes, like the Gummi Bears. Apparently 'Drekafluga' is not a good name on DA). o_Q
WoW, hands down. Yes, the physical embodiment of your money is more evident in the 360 but when it comes down to it, I suspect that I would end up spending more hours playing WoW than all the games I'd get for the 360 combined.
I feel the question items here are interchangeable with other games / consoles for the same amount of money. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'd rather have a single great game subscription than the means to buy potentially great games for more money and then having to agonize over which ones to choose.
wow cause of the time ive wasted on it already...lol. i dont consider the monthly charge as wasted money. if i rented games or movies i'd still be shelling out the $.
Really? just WoW or a 360? At least with WoW, you know you'll have a chance it won't RROD on you. Besides, I got out of WoW last year because it served it's purpose for 4+ years of me playing it. I needed something new other than leveling another alt because I hated to just join a PUG raid. I was in a guild for 2 years before that and my schedule never let me be able to be on time for the raids they planned.
After playing the STO beta, I think it would be my replacement MMO for WoW. It didn't require the game to act like a job... doing quests in the game didn't feel like grinding all that much. It felt like playing a Space sim within Star Trek. Money didn't have to be farmed for anything.
