My Last SketchBomb in San Francisco

Hey everyone!

Though I'm not ready to yet reveal all of the details why, I will be leaving San Francisco in the next couple of months.  To celebrate, I'll be attended my last SketchBomb in San Fracisco this Saturday, the 20th.


I handed over the day-to-day SketchBomb stuff to last May.  He's done an amazing job of running the San Francisco chapter which gave me back one Saturday every month to spend with my family.  It's been great.  I'll be going to the SketchBomb this Saturday as a farewell and to talk about the next step in my life.  It would be great to see faces old and new there.

In honor of it being the last one, here's a classic SketchBomb post.

Hey, San Franciscans!



This month's SketchBomb will be held Saturday, February 20th at the Grove on 3rd and Mission in San Francisco at 8 PM tinyurl.com/nmlgwk4 . SketchBomb is an open-invitation to any artist of any skill-level to come out and have a good time and sketch. Post any questions you have in this journal so we can get it all out in the open.

The Grove is now reserving the upstairs dining area for us. Come on up!

How it works: We usually alternate between timed themes and free sketching and we always have Show and Yell so people can check out everyone's work.  We've got this week's themes all figured out.  It'll be a blast!

The Grove has been super-awesome to us so let's support them! I want SketchBomb to continue to bring them business and great vibes, too. They have good food, beer (but you don't have to be 21 to attend SketchBomb), and a bunch of other stuff so we all need to get a few drinks or some food or whatever to thank them for the roof (and so we don't over-stay our welcome).
