zOeKrIo - ZoEkRiO by Zatransis zOeKrIo - ZoEkRiO by Zatransis
Hey there, fellow goons, geeks, and nerds!

Damn...

It's been a while since I posted. Things have been busy so that's a good thing.

Here is some Bastions-7 art. As you probably know, the whole B7 shebang was created by :iconcheeks-74: and now has its own DA group: :iconbastions-7:

Also, opening commissions in the next few minutes.

I hope everyone digs my take on Cheeks' awesome designs. This was super-fun to do. He's trying to get me to do all the characters... we'll seen, nerd, we'll see.

Snarf!

Question: Do you pencil before coloring? If so, how do you outline the areas so cleanly and get rid of your lines? Do you use the Photoshop pen tool to outline the flats, or just the lasso?

It really depends on the image. Some of them start with a full drawing, others don't.

For the shapes I block them in with the Polygonal Select tool.

I use a line separating technique that I explain here: [link]

Love how you're taking the character and owning it in your own style. You and Sean have really distinct styles, so it would be a big challenge to take something from one guy and transplant it to the other's style. But you totally knock it out of the park here.
