Whaddup?!

When I was in Orlando for MegaCon, I had an idea: What if a character embraced something that was considered unsightly in society? What if it's the source of their power?

After ballyhooing some ideas around in my head, I realized my calling. I will create SILVERBACK, the most bad-assed bad-ass in the WORLD-WORLD-WOR-wor-wo-w....wo.

Ok, enough bullshit. This guy is basically just a seriously tough dude with thick, furry back hair. Oh, and he has 3 ponytails because he believes "Just one ponytail is for pussies." His words, not mine.

After I drew this,

did a version of a character with insane back hair. Hopefully he'll post it soon.

As with Gollum, this was done with a carmine red Col-Erase pencil, black Bic ballpoint pen, Sharpie (I think), white Elmer's paint pen, and a little white charcoal pencil on brown Kraft paper.

Haha, seems very "you." I can easily see this guy being in SF (especially after seeing Rufus). His entrance would be picking his nose with his pinky, then hulking out with his back to you. Might clash with Blanka a little bit though, since he's already the furry dude.
