A while back Jon Sommariva

asked me to put some colors down on his art pitch for the then-unannounced Free Realms comic. I couldn't actually participate in the comic due to prior commitments, but I did the pitch art for him so he had something to show.

This is that pitch art. In the end, Jon didn't like the colors so I don't know what happened to this. Now that the book has been advertised and he isn't the artist, I thought it would be swell to post it up!

This is a great image. I somehow feel that it transports me in my childhood to a small degree. The mushroom-creature right in the back strangely reminds me of the robot in "Battle Chasers" by Joe Madureira.
