Now that that's out of the way... Here's the piece I tweeted progress of as I did the line art (which you can find on my twitter page [link] ). I had been doing so much work that was large-headed in proportions that I wanted to do a tiny head, hehe.
In the colors I brought back some old techniques that I had put away. I wanted to take them and bring them up to date with the rest of my skill set. And I tried to not do my usual Orange and Blue color scheme (which I just narrowly avoided when I made the armor blue and realized that was the same shit). Overall, I'm pretty happy with the way he came out.
This character was random and designed as I went so he's not specific to anything.
