Hey gang!

The response to my new Calvin and Hobbes piece was a bit overwhelming. It will take me a long while to get through all the comments so please bear with me.

In the meantime, here's a workflow of that same piece. A bunch of buddies and I ( :iconfrogbillgo: :iconhainanuisance: :iconjusscope: :iconjuniorbruce: ) have started an email thread where we share work-in-progress stuff, give each other advice, and, as a result, save out step-by-step versions of things. Here's the latest!

The original sketch was done in January. It was very rough and on brown paper so that's why it looks like garbage. I knew if I ever got around to painting it I would have to tighten it up... a lot.

U know, all the images involving C. and H. where Calvin's all grown up and passed down H. - just makes me think of the whole "I can't wait to pass down something to my kid/s"
